Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned IT Service Management (ITSM) Professional to spearhead and oversee ITSM processes within our technology division. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing incident response, capacity planning, change oversight, asset tracking, and other related functions. This role demands a proactive mindset to ensure that IT operations are in line with industry standards and internal guidelines, leveraging tools such as ServiceNow or similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute ITSM strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT service provision.
- Oversee IT service management processes, including incident, change, capacity, and asset management.
- Guarantee that IT services are delivered in accordance with established service levels and business requirements.
- Employ ITSM tools like ServiceNow to automate and enhance processes.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement to refine IT processes and boost departmental productivity.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an ITSM professional with substantial senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in managing ITSM processes within a technology-focused environment, ideally in the banking or financial services sector.
- Proficient in ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or equivalent.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Experience Required:
- Robust risk-awareness and comprehension of risk management frameworks.
- Solid technical background with a good grasp of modern technology stacks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with high-performing teams and individuals to achieve common objectives.
- Experience with performance analytics, KPIs, and OKRs.
- Proficient in problem-solving, with the ability to analyze complex information to identify key issues and drive solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in IT Service Management processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Event) and practices.
