At Engineeringuk, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machinery Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in driving improvements in machinery safety and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in machinery safety, with experience in managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance and support to colleagues.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing machinery safety projects and programs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
  • Conducting risk assessments and providing guidance and support to colleagues

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are passionate about machinery safety and have a strong background in this field, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Requirements

  • Education to a degree level and ASPP or RSPP certified
  • Professional training in a technical profession, preferably mechatronics or electrics
  • Relevant experience managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies
  • Qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
