Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Affairs Consultant to join our Life Sciences division at Sysmex. This role is pivotal in driving our company’s growth and enhancing our market presence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the scientific strategy for Sysmex Life Science products in collaboration with Business Line Managers (BLMs) and the Marketing Manager (MM), ensuring customer needs are met with superior service and profitability, in line with company policies.
  • Plan, execute, and complete clinical studies with clients to generate clinical insights that support marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct internal reviews of clinical evidence and guidelines pertinent to the Life Sciences sector, transforming this data into actionable insights for both the sales team and clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest clinical guidelines and scientific advancements related to Life Sciences.
  • Engage with customers alongside BLMs and Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) to foster strong relationships.
  • Assist BLMs in scientific promotional efforts, including participation in congresses and marketing activities.
  • Provide scientific support to the sales team during clinical inquiries and presentations.
  • Develop and update scientific presentations based on emerging clinical evidence for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with MM and BLM on internal study planning aligned with Life Sciences strategy.
  • Support investigators with IRB/IEC processes, including protocol development and contract management.
  • Lead the transition from data collection to publication in scientific journals, serving as a key resource for statisticians, medical writers, and investigators.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., biology, biomedicine).
  • Master's degree in clinical studies is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, databases, and CRM systems.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required.
  • Technical knowledge of products within the IVD industry.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical department, ideally with 2+ years in a similar role (e.g., Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Research Associate).
