Job Summary:

Pfeiffer Vacuum Italia Spa is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Field Service Engineer at a customer site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repairs on vacuum technology devices and systems at customer premises
  • Preparation of service assignments, including necessary measures, tools, and materials
  • Commissioning devices and systems, and conducting on-site operator training
  • Providing technical guidance and support to customers on the use and servicing of devices and systems
  • Careful documentation of all work performed, materials used, and working hours in the ERP system
  • Collaboration in the creation of customized service agreements
  • Support in the marketing of our services and products

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, or a comparable technical profession
  • Initial experience and a passion for working in customer service on technically sophisticated products
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment
  • Hands-on mentality and manual dexterity
  • English and Italian language skills
  • Independent and careful working style, initiative, and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills, customer-orientation, and an impeccable appearance
