Regional Sales Manager

Ssab is a leader in the steel industry, and we're looking for a skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our sales and marketing function, you'll be responsible for developing sales and growth plans for our existing and new customers in the region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic goals for the area and secure yearly sales and marketing targets.
  • Participate in marketing actions and visit workshops and end-users regularly.
  • Analyze and develop strategies to increase end-user reach.
  • Independently set up sales representations, contracts, proposals, and negotiate offers, prices, and other terms.
  • Document key activities in our customer relationship management system Salesforce.
About You:

We're looking for someone with experience in sales within the steel, manufacturing, or mining industry. You should have a degree in business administration, economics, or engineering and be proficient in Italian and English. You'll need to be a resident in the central/southern part of Italy and have a proactive approach to new business opportunities and continued improvements.

We expect you to have technical experience, a strong drive to work in the steel business, and a genuine curiosity to learn more about steel making, properties, and user benefits. If you're a strategic thinker who can see the whole picture and deliver presentations to both internal colleagues and external customers, we'd love to hear from you.
