About the Role

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about Ferrero's brands and products, and want to be part of the process that brings joy and indulgence to consumers. As a Trade and Shopper Marketing Specialist, you will support the Trade and Shopper Marketing department in harmonizing marketing and sales strategies to achieve the best product layout in point-of-sale, proper stock, and an exceptional shopping experience.

Main Responsibilities

The Trade and Shopper Marketing department consists of several teams that work together to achieve its mission and goals. As a Trade and Shopper Marketing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to:

Category Activation Management

  • Collaborate with the marketing department to define the category budget, including volumes and promotional investments, for the modern channel.
  • Create and implement sell-in and sell-out strategies.
  • Develop and execute category activation plans.
  • Support the preparation of sales plans.
  • Monitor performance.

Shopper Marketing Management

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of shopper drivers and purchasing barriers through the 'path to purchase' (pre-tail, tail, post-tail).
  • Analyze shopper insights to identify category business development opportunities.
  • Define guidelines for all retail mix elements.
  • Develop projects on shopping experience innovation.

Revenue Management

  • Analyze client trends and identify opportunity areas.
  • Support the marketing department in defining pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate turnover planning tools, promotional turnover, and client-specific investments.
  • Analyze key-quality indicators and develop methods to evaluate the relationship between quality and turnover.

Customer Marketing

  • Analyze the category potential for customers and Ferrero, evaluating growth opportunities.
  • Propose a customer-related development strategy.
  • Develop tools and actions to strengthen relationships with customers and consumers.
  • Guide during strategic planning phases of the modern channel.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in economics or engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or trade and shopper marketing departments.
  • Experience in the FMCG market is a plus.
  • Understanding of different markets and cultures.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Good skills in MS-Office applications (PowerPoint, Word).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e., pivot table, v-lookup).
