Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Specialist for Building Management Systems, you will be an integral part of the HQ Technical Sales Services team. Your primary mission will be to assist Siemens technical professionals across various domains (Comfort, Fire Safety, Energy Management, and Security) in overseeing their facilities utilizing Desigo BMS solutions. Key responsibilities include:
Offering support and resolving technical challenges faced by Siemens experts in different regions throughout the entire product lifecycle (design, commissioning, and maintenance) of Siemens Desigo On-premise and Off-premise solutions (SaaS). Adopting a customer-centric approach by gathering feedback from specific projects, replicating issues in a lab setting when feasible, identifying software bugs, understanding customer modification requests, and proactively suggesting software enhancements to R&D and product management teams. Recognizing topics suitable for documentation in knowledgebase articles. Continuously enhancing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of Siemens BMS software and associated subsystems.Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience in a technical support role is essential. Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, flexibility, adaptability, and resilience skills are required. A keen interest in emerging technologies and foundational knowledge in this area is highly valued. Familiarity with Energy, Comfort, Fire Safety, and Security field devices from Siemens is advantageous. A commitment to continuous personal and professional growth. Respect for individual uniqueness and a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge. Proficiency in English and Italian is necessary. Eligibility to work in Italy is required.What We Provide
