Role Overview
Casavo Management S.p.A. is on the lookout for a legal intern to assist our legal team with a variety of daily tasks inherent to the role. This position is based in Milan, Italy, with the possibility of remote work for candidates who can demonstrate effective productivity outside the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the Legal Counsel, engaging in the following activities:
- [Litigation Matters] – Involvement in active and passive litigation concerning real estate and corporate issues.
- [Corporate Governance] – Managing corporate governance procedures both domestically and internationally (Spain & France).
- [M&A Transactions] – Participation in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and financing activities.
- [Commercial Agreements] – Assisting in the formulation of strategic partnerships.
- [Intellectual Property] – Overseeing brand protection and monitoring.
- [Data Privacy] – Supporting the Data Protection Officer.
- Summarize legal cases and prepare reports for the legal team.
- Draft, review, file, organize, and archive legal documents and memoranda.
- Conduct legal research, investigate facts, and formulate legal arguments.
- Stay updated on legal changes and jurisprudence, drafting necessary updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Professional demeanor in both internal and external communications.
- Strong legal research and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.
- Proficiency in office productivity software.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Must reside in or near Milan, Italy.
- Must be an Italian citizen or legally authorized to work in Italy.
