Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Antal International. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our business, including financial control, financial reporting, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Control:
    • Oversee all sales, purchasing, salaries, and expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting policies.
    • Implement and review financial policies to ensure effective financial management.
    • Audit compliance, including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Produce monthly financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure accurate financial planning.
    • Monthly and annual reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Financial Performance:
    • Monitor budgets and report major deviations from approved budgets.
    • Business partner with the General Manager to implement controls, solutions, and action plans to ensure financial stability.
    • Assist the General Manager in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls, and safeguards to ensure profitability and control of operations.
    • Advise and provide counsel to the General Manager, HODs, and finance teams on all financial matters.
    • Treasury management, cash planning, and reviewing the cash position to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the business.
    • Review all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business, and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification or experience in accounting and finance.
  • Prior experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent.
  • Experience in hospitality or luxury hotels is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Effective management, leadership, organization, communication, and presentation skills.
