Key Responsibilities- Assure the collection and analysis of maintenance data to inform maintenance planning and execution.
- Collaborate with our system support engineering team to ensure the correct configuration and maintenance of our rail systems.
- Manage infrastructure-based systems to ensure timely notifications and maintenance alerts.
- Develop and implement condition-based maintenance strategies to optimize system performance.
- Provide performance analysis and recommendations for improvements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development of maintenance plans and budgets for new projects.
- Conduct level of repair analysis (LORA) to define efficient and cost-effective corrective maintenance.
- Support the training of maintainers in depot-level maintenance procedures.
- Perform failure analysis for warranty and non-warranty issues.
- Validate maintenance manuals and telediagnostic messages.
- Responsible for reporting maintenance and safety defects, operational events, and failures.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in railway maintenance engineering, with a focus on maintenance plan optimization, complex troubleshooting, and RAMS analysis.
- Ability to perform vehicle system analysis and interpret contract specifications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in maintenance field engineering on railway fleets.
- Basic working knowledge of rail train subsystems, such as automatic train supervision, vehicle, telecommunication, STB, pneumatic brake, traction converter, HVAC, etc.
- Basic understanding of software configuration management (CM) and software programming logic.
- Basic working knowledge of statistical analysis programs.
- Operation and maintenance processes.
- Previous experience on ECM projects and homologation planning.
- Railway operations and signaling principles.
- Planning and organization.
- Spare part analysis, definition, and forecast setup according to return of experience.
- Design to maintain and continuous improvement willingness and attitude.
The primary language for this role is English.
