Job Summary

Kemin Industries is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing excel files used by different areas of the business, keeping these files up-to-date, and preparing documents for daily shipments. You will collaborate with members of the logistics and warehouse team to ensure that the daily loads run smoothly.

Responsibilities

Logistics excel file maintenance:
• Creates loading lists based on the shipment file
• Updates the daily loading/unloading schedule file to give the correct information to the warehousemen

Preparation of shipment documents:
• Prepares the order on the management system
• Prepares the documents relating to each shipment (pre- and post-shipment) up to the invoicing of the order

Other activities:
• Managing e-mails with transporters and customers regarding the documents of shipments made

Requirements

Good knowledge of the Italian language and discrete knowledge of the English language mainly in writing
• Good communication skills
• Accuracy and reliability
• Adaptability: flexibility to work in a constantly changing environment and ability to adapt plans as required
• Good Microsoft Office skills (focus on Excel)
