Your Role

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Installing, configuring, and managing software in z/OS environments
  • Maintaining DFSms, DFhsm, DFRmm, and all relevant storage management software
  • Maintaining Z hardware configuration
  • Maintaining hardware replication solutions for high availability and disaster recovery
  • Maintaining software and hardware backup solutions
  • Installing new products and maintaining them up to date by applying fixes or PTFs
  • Providing support and advice to new projects
  • Consulting monitoring tools and capacity planning
  • Investigating and solving issues with the technical support team
  • Interacting with other teams within the company and with clients and counterparties
  • Providing and maintaining documentation of the processes made
  • Analyzing and managing high availability and disaster recovery procedures

Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • A Master's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Specific deep technical knowledge of z/OS system configuration, Suite DFSms, and equivalent third-party software, common storage management z/OS products, hardware and software replication tools, and z/OS operations
  • Knowledge of major distributed operating systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Knowledge of information security standards and GDPR regulations
  • Experience in programming
  • A propensity for innovation and business evolution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
