Front Office Manager

The 7Pines Resort Sardinia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Train, cross-train, and retrain all front office personnel to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
- Participate in the selection of front office personnel to ensure the right candidates are hired for the role.
- Supervise workload during shifts to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service.
- Evaluate the job performance of each front office employee to identify areas for improvement.
- Verify that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Relay information to appropriate personnel to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Work within the allocated budget for the front office to ensure financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Check cashiers in and out and verify banks and deposits at the end of each shift to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel to discuss performance, provide feedback, and set goals.
- Prepare revenue and occupancy forecasting to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and other employees.
- Monitor all V.I.P.'s special guests and requests to provide exceptional service and ensure their needs are met.
- Review daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit to identify areas for improvement.
- Review Front office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports, and tracking logs.
- Perform other duties as requested by management to ensure the smooth operation of the front office.
- University degree.
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand Italian and English.
- At least 2 years' experience supervising hotel reception, experience in cash management, accounting procedures, and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of the Hyatt world and its general policies.
