Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. As a member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical support for electrical and instrumentation project execution related to the water treatment business line. You will also participate in our 12-Month Graduate Program, which will challenge and enrich your learning to develop your skills, knowledge, and confidence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of experts to design and implement innovative electrical, instrumentation, and automation solutions for water treatment projects.
  • Support the preparation and review of engineering studies, design drawings, and documents, as well as material and equipment specifications, test procedures, and ITPs.
  • Contribute to the development of electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, and installation and operations conformity to standards and customer requirements.
  • Resolve specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
  • Check engineering documentation coming from outsourced engineering companies.
  • Write reports and compile data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
  • Assist in the preparation of specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Evaluate technical bids and follow up with different vendors.
  • Maintain and respect the engineering documentation schedule.
  • Engage in hands-on learning experiences during site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and a genuine desire to contribute to the global effort to combat climate change through innovative engineering solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness, enabling you to thrive in an international team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally, with a proactive attitude towards seeking out new challenges and seizing opportunities for advancement.
  • Basic knowledge of EU regulations and international standards related to electrical and automation systems.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for electrical design, coupled with a willingness to adapt and learn new technologies as needed.
  • Previous internships or project experience in a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with ATEX, EMC, Low Voltage Electrical Equipment directives, Machine directive, SIL standards, and their application.
  • English is mandatory, French/Spanish as a second language is a plus.
  • Availability to mission abroad is mandatory.
