Job Title: Maintenance & Technical Service Engineer



Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Technical Service Engineer to join our team at STERIS. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our production equipment and facilities.



Main Responsibilities


  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance


Requirements


  • Degree in a technical field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
