Job Title: Head of Finance Control Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance Control Department to join our team at TotalEnergies. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial control and reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data, and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial control and reporting functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement financial control processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Supervise and review the work of the Budget and Reporting team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reports.
  • Coordinate and distribute the annual Budget delegation for all Directors, ensuring adherence to Company internal rules and procedures.
  • Ensure control for master data in CO module - SAP system, to automate the execution of monthly Galaxy reporting.
  • Support the Cost Control Coordinator in the organization of the Cost Control team, tasks, and general forecast processes.
  • Consolidate and review the JV Budget Brochure and the Fincom presentations, ensuring the Fincom actions are followed-up.
  • Provide timely execution of SOX controls assigned to this position as control owner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Finance, encompassing Reporting, Economics, Cost Control, and management functions.
  • Thorough knowledge of O&G contracts and financial EP matters and rules.
  • Analysis and correlation skills, capacity for synthesizing, conscientiousness, accuracy.
  • Used to work under pressure and with sharp deadlines.
  • Managerial skills, networking, and team spirit.
  • Proactivity and high autonomy are essential.
  • English and Italian mandatory.
