Job Title: Train Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to research and innovation projects, driving the development of cutting-edge transportation systems.
  2. Elicit customer requirements and translate them into engineering specifications, ensuring seamless product development.
  3. Break down system requirements and align sub-system/component requirements with respective product lines, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with product line engineers to meet ERJU goals, participating in design reviews and advocating for technology advancements.
  5. Promote the advancement of technology readiness levels in product development, driving field trials, pilots, and deployment.
Required Skills:
  1. Requirements management experience with tools like DOORS and Polarian.
  2. System engineering toolset proficiency, including FMEA, trade-off analysis, and solution tree.
  3. Working knowledge of mobility technologies, such as perception, remote driving, and automated driving.
  4. Understanding of train signaling systems, including ETCS, CBTC, and TCMS.
Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree in Engineering, with a focus on Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation, Railway, Automotive, or Aerospace.
  2. Experience working with customers and end-product users, translating their needs into engineering requirements.
  3. Location: Piossasco (Italy), Tours or Paris area (France).
