We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. As a key member of our Human-Robot Interfaces and Interaction research group, you will be responsible for developing and applying machine learning algorithms and computer vision techniques to recognize human actions and estimate states through images and videos.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize machine learning models for human action recognition and state estimation
- Collaborate with other engineers and researchers to validate the system in simulated and real-world scenarios
- Work with computer vision and machine learning libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
- Master or bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and image processing
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages
- Experience with version control tools such as git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
