Due Diligence and Regulatory Compliance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager to lead projects and tasks primarily in due diligence, regulatory compliance, and permitting.

The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in delivering permitting strategy and applications for industrial clients, as well as experience in leading due diligence and compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project strategy, oversight, and direction for due diligence, regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, and development/decommissioning projects.
  • Assess and draw conclusions from a wide range of real estate, engineering, construction, policy, planning, environmental, and business development considerations.
  • Review and prioritize risk-based mitigation recommendations covering a variety of technical topic areas.
  • Coordinate internal teams and manage relationships with consultants, external subject matter experts, and clients.
  • Present information to clients, Ramboll staff, subconsultants, stakeholders, and leaders to drive alignment and strategic approach to site development or infrastructure projects.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g., environmental, mechanical, or chemical engineering, environmental science).
  • 12+ years of experience in the performance of Phase I ESAs and EHS compliance assessment for various types of industrial facilities.
  • 12+ years' project or program management experience.
  • Experience managing site selection, feasibility assessments, and permitting of infrastructure and industrial or mission-critical properties.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written, with a third language (e.g., German, Spanish, French) a plus.
