Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance & AML Specialist to join our team in Milan. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing compliance and AML risks, providing advisory and monitoring activities, and assisting with reporting and development of Saxo Bank's compliance and AML framework and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify applicable rules and regulations for Saxo Bank (MiFID II, Market Abuse, AML, Privacy etc.) and risk areas of non-compliance

  • Perform compliance and AML risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Provide advice and compliance/AML opinions to the business and other functions to prevent compliance/AML risks

  • Conduct compliance and AML monitoring activities (annual plan) and report findings to senior management

  • Contribute to regular compliance/AML reporting to the CEO and to the BoD of Saxo Bank

  • Collaborate with other Compliance & AML teams within Saxo Group to achieve common goals

  • Second-level analysis in relation to CDD and ODD processes

  • Draft and update Saxo Bank's policies and procedures

  • Review AML/Market Abuse suspicion alerts and, if necessary, prepare reports to the relevant authorities

  • Approve marketing contents, including contractual documentation

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Compliance & AML professional with a strong background in risk management and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a BSc/Master in Economy or Law and at least 4/5 years' experience within Compliance or AML Function of banks, investment firms, SGR or within consulting firm or law firms.
