IT Operations Internship in Italy

Amplifon is seeking a motivated individual to become part of our IT Operations division in Italy, reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager. This role is crucial for overseeing the management and governance of IT assets, including devices such as PCs, monitors, smartphones, and networking equipment, throughout their entire lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive asset management plans, conducting impact assessments and resolving significant issues to restore services effectively.
  • Implement and manage escalation procedures to minimize operational downtime.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis following service restoration.
  • Design and oversee intricate asset management processes, establishing KPIs and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Monitor KPIs to ensure efficiency across all asset management areas and support operational activities.
  • Regularly update processes and procedures as needed.
  • Manage the procurement process in alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee lead times and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with field suppliers to maintain high service quality.
  • Ensure accurate updates to the asset inventory.
  • Work closely with the Global IT Team on various projects and activities related to IT assets.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Capable of analyzing data to extract meaningful insights that can drive team performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive mindset with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
