Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define inventory policies based on specified segmentation
  • Calculate and maintain inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies
  • Coordinate material planning with call-offs to ensure purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders
  • Collaborate with buyers to achieve best possible supplier performance

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management working as a material planner
  • Highly skilled in data analysis and business intelligence tools (SQL, Access, Power BI or similar)
  • Knowledge of programming language as VBA, VB.NET, VC++ or similar
  • Enhanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office especially Excel (Macros and Pivot)
