Job Summary

As a Material Planner at ABB, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and coordinate the procurement of materials, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in the right quantities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with ABB's quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a material planning role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
