About the Job

Starion Group is seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer to join our team in Frascati, Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the EOP-G Project/System Security Officer, Service Managers, and PDGS Ground Segment Managers in ensuring the security governance of the Earth Explorers PDGS and common services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, with at least 3 years of experience in related fields. You will have the opportunity to work on comprehensive security risk assessments, establish and define security requirements, review technical documentation, and provide support for security governance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting comprehensive security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Establishing and defining security requirements for information systems based on the results of security risk assessments and security best practices.
  • Reviewing and assessing technical documentation to ensure compliance with security requirements and policies.
  • Providing support for security governance and ensuring the security governance of the Earth Explorers PDGS and common services.


Qualifications
  • A university degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences, IT, Information Security, Electronic/Communication/Aerospace Engineering, or a relevant technical domain.
  • At least 3 years of experience in information security or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of information security management policies, standards, procedures, and security risk assessment methodologies.
