Job Description:

We're seeking a highly motivated Senior IT Compliance Specialist to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of our compliance and risk management strategies.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for performing tests of IT General Controls (ITGC) to verify their adequacy and effectiveness, identifying any weaknesses or areas for improvement.
  • You will verify that activities carried out by personnel comply with internal policies and procedures in force.
  • You will provide suggestions aimed at improving controls, organizational processes, and risk management.
  • You will prepare documents and audit reports in accordance with internal audit policies and procedures and relevant audit standards.
  • You will perform follow-up procedures to ensure appropriate audit evidence is obtained, validated, and used for testing controls in a timely manner.
  • You will participate in cybersecurity, business continuity, and GDPR projects.
  • You will manage relations with external auditors, including customers' auditors and third-party suppliers.
  • You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients' auditors.
  • You will support the process of drafting and updating policies, procedures, and company operating instructions.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Economics, Computer Science/Engineering, or an equivalent degree with honours.
  • Previous experience in the Internal Auditing field of at least 4 years.
  • Good knowledge of IT security issues and GDPR regulations.
  • Strong motivation and passion for Internal Audit and Compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English and Italian language.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
