Administrative Support Specialist for International Organizations

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Randstad Italia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative assistance within international organisations and excellent knowledge of English (at least B2 level).
The successful candidate will support the management of the Pesticide Peer Review Unit, ensuring proper document management, supporting database maintenance, and handling correspondence. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the analysis of work processes and identifying lean activities;
- Writing, editing, and proofreading documents such as reports, presentations, and memos;
- Maintaining accurate records and databases;
- Reporting issues to the coordinator;
- Providing administrative support to the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment with a global reach. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team that values diversity, inclusivity, and employee development.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in performing various administrative tasks within international organisations;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook;
- Good knowledge of document management systems;
- A scientific background would be considered an asset;
- Behavioural competencies: customer-oriented, excellent team player, ability to switch quickly from one task to another.
What we offer:
- An initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extensions;
- Estimated salary: €26,340 per annum (based on 12 months of work and 2145 euros per month before taxes);
- Flexible work modalities: office work required on at least 2 days per week, with remote work possible within 2 hours from Parma for the remaining days;
