Role Overview:

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Planning & Cost Management team in Milan, working with a pivotal international client in the Data Center industry.

As a Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing project schedules and documentation, utilizing Primavera P6 and MS Project, generating reports and presentations for client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting construction project sites to confirm progress aligns with project schedules and documentation.
  • Participating in project risk reviews, performing schedule qualitative and quantitative analysis, and developing/maintaining/monitoring risk registers.
  • Identifying scheduling issues, capturing impacts, and recommending mitigation/recovery schedules.
  • Attending meetings and advising clients on construction progress and related cost implications, supporting the development of progress status reports.
  • Developing potential recovery plans for time and cost.
  • Reviewing and analyzing construction claims, providing opinions, advice, and reports on contractual entitlement and quantification of damages.
  • Writing and developing technical reports, charts, and graphs to support and present analyses.
  • Determining reasonable schedule logic, duration, and constraints based on interactive planning sessions with the project team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying) or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience building and maintaining organized, integrated EPC schedules using CPM, resource loading, baselining, coding, and cost.
  • Understanding of construction means and methodology.
  • Ability to read and understand design information.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • An excellent level of English (B2/C1).
  • Ability to engage with clients and key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Proficiency with PowerBI (reporting) will be considered a plus.
