About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to join the EngineeringUK team as a Design Technologist. We are seeking an experienced web developer with a passion for design and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop high-quality frontend code and lead the end-to-end development process from a design and technical perspective.
  2. Collaborate closely with business teams to develop campaign strategy, use cases, and technical requirements.
  3. Concept innovative solutions that utilize Amazon's canvas alongside creative counterparts.
  4. Prototype new features and products, tackling ambiguous challenges that affect the global team.
  5. Optimize internal processes and tooling for broader impact, strategically aligning initiatives to maximize revenue and influence.
  6. Presentation of work to peers, product teams, and senior leadership.
  7. Leadership, mentorship, and coaching to immediate and extended teams on industry trends, tooling, and best practices in web development and design.
  8. Collaboration with partner teams to expand influence, increase productivity, and effectiveness within the Brand Innovation Lab.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 1+ years of front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience.
  2. An available online portfolio showcasing coding samples in front-end programming languages.
  3. Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  4. Understanding and usage across a broad spectrum of technologies including React/JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, WCAG AA standards, GenAI/LLMs, Figma, and AWS.
  5. Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop/Illustrator).
  6. Experience using Figma to translate designs to websites.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 1+ years of ad, design agency, or similar client-side experience.
  2. Experience using AWS in production environments.
  3. Understanding of performance and how to mitigate latency issues.
  4. Experience building work to high accessibility standards.

Salary Range:

$125,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience.
