We are seeking a highly skilled Casualty Underwriter to join our team at Chubb. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our casualty portfolio, ensuring that our business meets the highest standards of quality and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients to drive growth and revenue.
  2. Portfolio Management: Oversee the renewal and maintenance of our casualty portfolio, ensuring that it meets our business objectives and profitability targets.
  3. Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive underwriting analysis of new and renewal casualty insurance policies, ensuring that they meet our risk appetite and profitability goals.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as actuaries and risk engineers, to ensure that our underwriting decisions are informed and effective.
  5. Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all underwriting activities are conducted in accordance with Chubb's compliance guidelines and processes.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in the casualty line of business.
  • Preferred university graduation in a relevant field, such as law, economics, or finance.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
