About the Role:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operational Excellence and Process Improvement to join our team. As a key member of our Manufacturing Technical Operations (MTO) team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and process improvement initiatives across our global manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for enhancement and devise strategies to optimize operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Use data-driven insights and analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving operations.
  • Create and maintain metrics and dashboards to track progress and share results with others involved.
  • Identify and evaluate operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement across various departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen events, and other improvement frameworks.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process enhancements.
  • Lead and oversee large-scale projects from initiation to completion, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with individuals across the organization to lead and support change management efforts.
  • Foster effective communication strategies to promote the successful implementation of improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects, including defining project scope, managing timelines, and resources.
  • Supply Chain experience, including demonstrated ability to manage and drive operational performance improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
  • Strong leadership/team management skills and extensive experience in effectively managing teams from different departments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate, influence, and connect with individuals at all organizational levels to drive continuous improvement success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively use data in decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Lean/Six Sigma (e.g., Black Belt).
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and usage of statistical tools.
