About the Role

As an Operational Excellence Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and lean transformation across our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is passionate about making a positive impact on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of our Business System to drive continuous improvement through lean and digital transformation.
  • Collaborate with site departments to ensure productivity targets are met and PPI activities are successfully driven.
  • Establish a lean culture that encourages all employees to continuously optimize their processes.
  • Support site digital transformation strategy and drive operational excellence influence on Industry 4.0.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement events, such as Kaizen and VSM workshops, to reach efficiency and productivity targets.
  • Act as an internal consultant to share and implement best practices.
  • Assist in education and training on operational excellence principles.
  • Monitor performance and participate in performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Economics, or Business.
  • 2+ years of background in manufacturing environment with proven experience in continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality requirements.
  • Good knowledge of statistical tools.
  • Experience in Digital Transformation and Digital Solutions preferred.
  • English language fluency.
