Job Title: Bid Manager

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team in Gorgonzola, Italy. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading the bid team and ensuring the delivery of winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the bid team to ensure timely delivery of winning proposals
  • Develop and implement bid strategies to meet customer needs and Thales' business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Ensure compliance with Thales' policies and procedures, as well as relevant national and international regulations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the bid team to ensure successful proposal development and delivery
Requirements:
  • Engineering or economics degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in bid management or similar project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in MS Office and planning tools, such as MS Projects
  • Very good language skills in English and French, spoken and written
