Job Summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Pisa site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
    • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Preventive Maintenance
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures
    • Collaborate with plant engineering and reliability engineering to ensure effective maintenance strategies
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
    • Provide regular reports to management on maintenance activities and equipment status
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with maintenance team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
    • Interface with suppliers and other stakeholders to resolve maintenance-related issues
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school certification in a technical discipline (electrical, electronic, automation diploma preferred)
  • Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role or equivalent within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Skills
    • Ability to read electrical diagrams and PLC basic knowledge
    • Analytical skills with systematic approaches to problem solving
    • Familiarity with Quality Management and GxP Regulations
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position at our Pisa site. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

Language

English language skills are a plus.
