Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team in Milan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to our front office personnel on regulatory matters, including cross-border issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our business management, front office desks, operations, and compliance department colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal, regulatory, and best practice changes impacting our business.
  • Collaborate with our compliance department to implement new and ongoing regulatory changes, including policy creation and training.
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory and exchange relationships, including responding to queries, investigations, and audits.
  • Provide training to our front office personnel on regulatory matters, including codes of market conduct and sales/trading market practices.
  • Investigate alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and standards of conduct.
  • Ensure that all regulatory reports are duly compiled and filed with the relevant authorities.
Requirements
  • General compliance experience, with additional experience in sales trading or investment banking compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial products, including fixed income, cash, and derivative products, as well as equities products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Very good English language skills.
