Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the finances and finance organization of Ferring, including local logistics and supply chain management.
  • Develop a broad understanding of finance targets across the local Ferring organization and build capacity for the local finance team.
  • Play an important role as a business partner to the cluster management team, while being accountable for driving key processes at the operational level.
  • Carry out the selection, motivation, and training of the financial team, translating business objectives into team finance objectives and managing performance.
  • Advise and challenge business with timely and proactive analyses, assessments of variances to plans, financial impacts, and risks.
  • Inform timely on any unexpected issue impacting the financial performance of the Country and Area, proposing corrective actions.
  • Identify areas of improvement in business and organization, proposing implementation plans, and monitoring key ratios.
  • Keep a robust information system environment on key data, leveraging company tools.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance or Economics.
  • 10- years' experience in Finance and sound experience in multinational environments.
  • Strong solid understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes.
  • Solid experience in leading teams, on- and off-shore.
  • Experience with SAP-HANA implementation will be a plus.
  • Analytical mindset and self-starter, able to see opportunities and solve problems independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a decentralized finance structure.
  • Ability to set long-term financial targets and sponsor performance improvement projects.
  • Professional business English (oral and written).
  • Professional business Spanish and Italian.
