Job Summary

Tn Italy is seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in Kazakhstan. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil and structural works for our pipeline projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review civil and structural designs for pipeline projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design issues, and provide technical advice and recommendations to project teams.
  • Review and analyze FEED packages, and provide optimized and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and prepare scope of works for subcontractors.
  • Aggregate and review FEED bulletins and evaluation reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize engineering resources to produce high-quality deliverables within the shortest possible timeframe.
  • Review and advise on quantities extracted from drawings, and provide optimization recommendations based on design.
  • Perform code checks on deliverables and review drawings prepared by designers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering for the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficient in contract interpretation and scope comprehension.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • Previous experience in CIS countries is desirable.
  • Strong self-discipline and ability to meet demanding schedule requirements while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in written work.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
