About the Role

At OutSystems, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on mobile application development. This role is designed for individuals who are analytical, curious, and passionate about solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to design and develop innovative solutions while adhering to established development methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
  • Enhance the platform's capabilities to produce high-quality code for both Android and iOS environments.
  • Implement features that streamline intricate mobile development processes.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and creation of new mobile functionalities within the platform.
  • Engage in rapid code production and testing cycles, emphasizing automation.
  • Solicit and incorporate feedback from end-users to refine your solutions.
  • Focus on crafting maintainable solutions that can scale effectively.
  • Apply best practices in product development, continuous delivery, and testing.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Exceptional candidates without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for analyzing and designing effective solutions for high-tech challenges.
  • A commitment to learning and assisting others in navigating complex topics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with continuous delivery and testing methodologies.
  • A proactive approach to innovation and the adoption of development best practices.
  • A keen interest in emerging technologies and frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • A high degree of autonomy in your work.
  • Experience in developing tools, SDKs, or libraries for mobile platforms.
  • Proficient in Android (Java, Kotlin) or iOS (Swift, Objective-C) development.
  • Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Capacitor or Cordova is a significant advantage.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or frameworks are viewed favorably.
