Sales Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Antal International Network in Milan, Italy. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing business opportunities, promoting the hotel's identity, and maintaining relationships with clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage proactively and scout business opportunities to contribute to overall hotel revenue.
- Promote and communicate effectively the hotel's identity and unique selling points.
- Establish and maintain optimal relationships with all relevant clients in the defined sales segment.
- Solicit and develop new business from identified market segments and sources of business.
- Identify new sources of business based on economic trends and opportunities.
- Retain business by adhering to established retention strategies.
- Represent the hotel in selected trade shows and sales missions.
- Input client data on a timely basis and accurately in all relevant hotel systems and tools.
- Review production of selected segments and accounts identifying opportunities and business opportunities.
- Liaise closely with the Groups Event Sales Manager to drive business to the segment.
- Assist in monitoring activities of competitor hotels.
- Provide feedback from market to tailor hotel strategies.
- Assist in the development of strategies geared towards increasing sales and productivity throughout the hotel.
- Ensure that all departmental reports and related correspondence are completed in liaison with the Director of Sales Marketing on a timely matter.
- Assist the Director of Sales Marketing in the implementation of the annual Sales Business Plan.
- Ensure that incoming sales enquiries are appropriately handled.
- Carry out the sales solicitation strategy selected markets.
- Work closely with hotel's reservations department to ensure that all booking enquiries are correctly handled and implemented.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in same or similar role.
- Specialization in EU and LATAM markets.
- Experience in Luxury Hospitality.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Any other language will be considered a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
