Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Antal International Network in Milan, Italy. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing business opportunities, promoting the hotel's identity, and maintaining relationships with clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage proactively and scout business opportunities to contribute to overall hotel revenue.
  • Promote and communicate effectively the hotel's identity and unique selling points.
  • Establish and maintain optimal relationships with all relevant clients in the defined sales segment.
  • Solicit and develop new business from identified market segments and sources of business.
  • Identify new sources of business based on economic trends and opportunities.
  • Retain business by adhering to established retention strategies.
  • Represent the hotel in selected trade shows and sales missions.
  • Input client data on a timely basis and accurately in all relevant hotel systems and tools.
  • Review production of selected segments and accounts identifying opportunities and business opportunities.
  • Liaise closely with the Groups Event Sales Manager to drive business to the segment.
  • Assist in monitoring activities of competitor hotels.
  • Provide feedback from market to tailor hotel strategies.
  • Assist in the development of strategies geared towards increasing sales and productivity throughout the hotel.
  • Ensure that all departmental reports and related correspondence are completed in liaison with the Director of Sales Marketing on a timely matter.
  • Assist the Director of Sales Marketing in the implementation of the annual Sales Business Plan.
  • Ensure that incoming sales enquiries are appropriately handled.
  • Carry out the sales solicitation strategy selected markets.
  • Work closely with hotel's reservations department to ensure that all booking enquiries are correctly handled and implemented.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in same or similar role.
  • Specialization in EU and LATAM markets.
  • Experience in Luxury Hospitality.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Any other language will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
