POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Construction Project Leader will oversee all construction operations related to the renovation of luxury properties. This role involves directing and managing projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively. Additional responsibilities may arise following the completion of current projects in various regions.

Accountable for the successful execution of the construction phase of assigned projects, this position entails a thorough analysis of project timelines, deliverables, and cost estimates to guarantee adherence to the highest standards, while ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution. The role also involves supervising all onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable building and safety regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Oversight:
- Coordinate construction activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Provide guidance to contractors and subcontractors to maintain compliance with company standards.
- Develop and manage project estimates, budgets, schedules, and resources.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Engage with engineers, architects, and other consultants to foster effective communication.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to cultivate positive working relationships. Teamwork is crucial for success in this role.

Issue Resolution and Compliance:
- Identify and address recurring construction challenges, promptly reporting issues and monitoring corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to legal regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

Quality Control and Value Optimization:
- Participate in value engineering initiatives to ensure high-quality design and performance of all specified materials.

On-Site Leadership:
This role requires a strong presence on-site to facilitate consultant meetings, conduct project inspections, monitor performance, manage schedules and budgets, identify potential challenges, and provide leadership to the local project management team as needed.

General Duties:
- Direct and manage construction teams and subcontractors.
- Select and oversee the use of tools, materials, and equipment while managing inventory.
- Ensure compliance with contractual performance conditions.
- Review daily work progress and prepare internal and external reports on project status.
- Proactively plan to prevent issues and resolve emerging challenges.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Maintain high construction quality standards and appropriate techniques.
- Utilize resources responsibly to minimize waste.
- Communicate relevant information across departments as necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety policies, reporting any accidents or defects immediately.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities as required.
