About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sub-System Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Train Design organization, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our sub-systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and validate sub-system selection and development with suppliers and customers.
  • Manage technical sub-system PSLI/RAMP and ensure standard key design rules are applied.
  • Support sites on critical technical issues and report progress to the team.
  • Collaborate with Business Team Managers and Technical Team Managers to fill in "Entry" and "Exit" connectors.
  • Drive technical development of products until GFV in close relationship with suppliers.

Requirements

  • Master of engineering or equivalent degree, completed with experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in product development.
  • Fluent business English and ability to convince, switch between problem perspective to solution perspective, challenge and be challenged.
  • Ability to work in a team and share work results (good communication skills and team spirit).
  • Readiness to travel.
