About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineering technicians and ensuring the maintenance of our equipment to meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the team in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, identifying and addressing any barriers to performance.
  • Work closely with the Reliability Engineering Manager and site Safety department to implement and audit safety and statutory compliance programs.
  • Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to ensure high equipment availability.
  • Manage and drive the training program for the team to ensure sufficient technical coverage.
  • Support local and EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
  • Significant practical engineering experience, including a supervisory role managing people.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Experience of working to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience of automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
  • Experience working with PLC-based control systems.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of CMMS programs.
  • Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Process.
