About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Assistant to join our Hexcel team in Saronno, Italy. The selected individual will be responsible for providing administrative customer service and supporting the Customer Services department with various pre and post-commercial back office activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the implementation of the new ERP system (Microsoft D365)
  2. Oversee accurate order processing after the Customer Service PO Review
  3. Support the Customer Service department with Credit, Debit processing and recording of goods receipt and with Receivables related tasks
  4. Work with the Customer Service team in the Quotation process
  5. Input accurate information into MS Excel spreadsheets and/or system, and upload into SharePoint as required
  6. Maintain departmental file systems to ensure efficient information retrieval
  7. Participate in departmental assignments to maximize department efficiency
  8. Handle mailing of administrative paperwork and answer telephone inquiries
  9. Communicate effectively with Customer Service and sales staff

Requirements:

  • University Degree or High School Diploma with relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of main Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Axapta is a plus
  • Effective communication skills with people at all levels of the business
  • Driven, enthusiastic, autonomous, and self-motivated individual
  • Fluent English both verbally and in writing
