Our Graduate Programme

We are looking for graduates interested in starting a career in insurance-brokerage and risk-management consulting to join our Graduate Programme.

What to Expect

  • A journey of growth and acceleration with technical and theoretical training, on-the-job training, and coaching from three key figures: a Tutor, a Mentor, and a Buddy.
  • An induction training to discover Marsh's organizational structure and strategic vision, meeting Senior Leaders and their Teams.
  • A career progression within Marsh, starting with a 6-month internship, with a chance to accelerate your career through an employment agreement tailored to your performance and dedication.
  • An Individual Development Plan based on your attitudes and nurtured by high-quality training, with job rotation allowing you to make experience in different Marsh Areas and Teams.

Your Role

Depending on the job rotation, you may be involved in activities like:

  • Business development with new customers, conducting market research and making cold calls to develop effective sales proposals.
  • Relationship management with current accounts, understanding client risks and supporting Senior Colleagues in advising on insurance strategy solutions.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating insurance-carrier coverage policies to meet client needs, developing a deep understanding of insurance markets and analytics-based programs.
  • Supporting a variety of risk-consulting projects and evaluating exposures to develop risk management solutions.

Requirements

  • University Degree, preferably in Economics (Management, Finance, Risk Management, etc.), Law, Management Engineering, Statistics, International Relations, Political, Social, and Organizational Science, achieved within the last 12 months or close to obtaining and a brilliant academic path.
  • Fluency in Italian and English and, preferably, in a third language.
  • Consolidated advanced skills in using the main IT-tools (especially Microsoft Office Package, Excel, and Powerpoint).
