About the Role

As a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to lead with excellence and a collaborative spirit as a Delivery Lead at Avanade. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results and client satisfaction, and we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to oversee projects within the Consumer Goods and Services and/or Retail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the industry, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with Sales Accounts to develop business on Industry Clients.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication of project goals and objectives.
  • Ensure projects adhere to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions, including defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders (internal and external), including senior management, clients, and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Oversee a team of project managers, coordinators, and other delivery staff.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to secure necessary resources for project execution.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management as appropriate.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in portfolio management, project management, or a related role, within the Consumer Goods and Services / Retail industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale system integration projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
