Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at D-Orbit. As a key member of our systems engineering team, you will be responsible for the customization of flight-qualified platforms and the design of new advanced missions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate systems and specialist engineers to ensure end-to-end design and development cycle of systems platforms.
  • Interface with Program Manager to support planning and management tasks.
  • Coordinate with Procurement team to support procurement process of test and flight parts.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and AIV teams for test plan definition and execution.
  • Interface with Flight Operations team to support ConOps definition and procedures.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Space Systems Engineering and Space Systems Architectures.
  • Systems-level knowledge of all spacecraft subsystems.
  • Experience in systems budgets and trade-off analyses.
  • Experience in satellite verification and validation approaches.
  • Experience in planning and management tasks.
  • Experience in procurement processes.
  • Experience in requirements management tools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Spacecraft design and development.
  • University degree in Aerospace/Space Engineering.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
