Job Summary
Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA is seeking an experienced IT Senior Specialist - Datacenter Infrastructure to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our datacenter infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in global planning and design sessions to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors to effectively meet business needs
- Support project managers and solutions architects in developing scopes of work and project deployment plans
- Act as a regional subject matter expert (SME) delivering IT platforms products and technologies to our markets
- Build and analyze RUN IT operations reports to identify areas for improvement
- Lead analysis of the current technology environment to recommend solutions for improvement
- Contribute to the organization's adoption of DevOps methodology and Agile project management
- Ensure datacenter and cloud infrastructure components follow Nestle design and security standards
Requirements
- Strong expertise in managing, supporting backup, storage, and virtualization product technologies in on-premise and cloud environments
- Backup, virtualization, storage, and cloud certification will be considered a plus
- Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to support business issues
- Deep vendor, communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote)
- Experience working on projects, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines
- Practical experience working in DevOps organizations with applied Agile methodologies (Scrum/AzureDevOps)
