Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Technician to join our team at Oracle. As a Datacenter Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical liaison between the technology teams and the data center environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate resolver groups.
  • Create and maintain documentation on supported technologies.
  • Understand all aspects of supported equipment and infrastructure.
  • Execute small projects independently and collaborate with managers on larger projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Recent graduates with relevant knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment.
  • Experience with data center M&E equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to dig into system details to solve customer problems.
  • Experience working in mission-critical operations environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
  • Experience providing client-facing support and service.
  • Ability to work productively in remote teams or independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of data center design, including electrical and cooling plant operation.
  • Airflow management and rack, and stack equipment expertise.
  • Structured cabling skills on fiber and copper.
  • Systems administration experience with Linux and/or Windows Servers.
  • Hardware repair and diagnosis expertise.
  • Networking fundamentals and IT hardware concepts.
