Material Handling Systems Engineer

Tecnimont is seeking a highly skilled and disciplined Material Handling Systems Engineer to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, calculate, and conceptualize material handling systems, specifying equipment and collaborating with vendors and clients to meet project needs and deliverables.
  • Understand the basics of mechanical systems and processes for various types of handling systems, with a focus on pneumatic applications.
  • Contribute to designing system layouts and determining operational requirements to generate detailed system flow and perform calculations to validate system throughput and workability.
  • Select material handling packages that meet technological, technical, contractual, and economic requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical contacts with vendors, accepting final reports and participating in construction, testing, assembly, and startup phases as needed.
  • Provide support and input to other disciplines for detail activities and participate in preparing or editing project specifications and reports.
  • Ensure completion of assigned project deliverables related to cost and schedule, tracking and communicating project status internally and externally.
Requirements:
  • Graduate in mechanical discipline.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D software.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of English language.
  • Open-mindedness and adaptability.
  • Willingness to work in multicultural environments.
  • Effective team player.
