**Job Title: Laboratory Technician for the Structural Biology Lab**
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at the Structural Biology Laboratory. As a key member of our research team, you will play a vital role in the success of our activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and materials to ensure optimal performance and safety.
* Manage relations with technical specialists and vendors to procure consumables and new instrumentation.
* Coordinate storage and installation of equipment.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment.
* Provide training and assistance to lab users in good laboratory practices and equipment operation.
* Collaborate with other teams, including purchasing and infrastructure, to maintain effective communication and coordination.
**Requirements:**
* A technical diploma or equivalent with a solid understanding of structural biology laboratory processes and requirements.
* Practical and theoretical experience with laboratory instrumentation.
* Previous experience as a lab technician in a similar biology laboratory.
* Strong knowledge of chromatographic techniques is a plus.
* Understanding of purchasing procedures in an Italian public institution is desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
