Job Title: Head of Mechanical Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Mechanical Department to join our team at Chateau Monfort, a 5-star hotel in the heart of Milan. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Manage a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and effective operation of the hotel's mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of the hotel's systems and services.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with mechanical operations, including energy consumption and maintenance expenses.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and operations, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Italian, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
